Insecurity can hit you from all directions, causing an onslaught of negative emotions. No one should feel this way but it is unfortunately a shared experience. Feeling unsure of yourself is a natural reaction, however, it can lead to believing that you are not worthy or deserving of life’s good gifts. You may even question if those who appear “normal” have an edge over you.

Insecurity can distort our perception of everything around us, including ourselves – sometimes even the very source. But it doesn’t have to be that way. With a journey toward self-evolution and personal growth, we reclaim control over our minds and emotions toward greater security in life.

I want to talk about why it is there and how to get free of it

It is invaluable to understand why you’re going through this and also how you can find your way out of it. This journey won’t be an effortless task, but the rewards make it worthwhile. Plus, by taking steps towards growth in a personal sense, you are also making a positive impact on the world at large – so two wins for one!

With too many people enduring this issue for far longer than necessary, I’m eager to spread the word and put an end to their suffering. Sadly, I have personally experienced it myself all these years; therefore, I am passionate about discussing this subject matter. 

Since it is a gradual process, I still experience moments of the old struggle from time to time. But what’s unique now is that instead of being overwhelmed by this condition and letting it dictate my life – blocking me from living fully and connecting authentically with those around me – I feel more freedom than ever before. This newfound sense of self has empowered me to become an improved version of myself for all those who mean something in my life; which drives me towards growing further every day as I open up new possibilities within myself.

  1. Begin building a solid foundation for your life by establishing and taking action on a daily routine of good self-care
    • Jumpstart your day with a daily morning workout! If you’re new to exercise, start small and gradually increase the amount of time. You’ll soon be exercising for one hour each day – all before breakfast!
    • Feed your body healthy foods
    • Instead of allowing yourself to be bogged down by negative messaging, fill your head with positive thoughts that encourage you to envision all the possibilities ahead.
    • Take note of the relationships that are toxic and work on developing positive ones instead.
    • Mindful of your emotional health, stay alert to the things that make you happy. Make a concerted effort to move towards positivity and avoid anything—even thoughts!—that might leave you feeling distressed or despondent. Cultivate cheerfulness in every aspect of life; it is essential for total well-being.
  2. Know your purpose and path
    • One of the ways to feed your esteem to move away from insecurities is to honor yourself as if you are worth doing that because you are worth doing that for yourself.
    • You are also giving yourself trust by being on your purpose and you affirming your worthiness.
    • As you go along your life’s journey, it is essential to eliminate any lies or missed opportunities. Replacing these with the truest version of yourself not only lessens insecurities but also provides a strong reminder that you are more than worthy – an idea completely opposite of being insecure.
  3. Have an early morning routine of Gratitude and self-love practice
    • Every morning go over a list of things in your mind of all that you are grateful for.
    • Every morning, show yourself some self-love by crossing your hands over your chest and allowing yourself to feel the unconditional love you possess. Immerse in this emotion, appreciate it, and embrace it.
    • Each morning, imagine having already achieved the ambition that you have set for yourself. Feel as though it is something that you are worthy of; because indeed, you absolutely are! Visualize what life would be like with this accomplishment in hand – revel in the sense of delight and pride associated with success.
  4. Push yourself to grow and shift
    • On a daily basis, challenge yourself to push your boundaries and prove wrong the limiting beliefs you have about yourself. Step out of your comfort zone and do things that seem difficult – it will show you that anything is possible if you put in the effort! Prove all of those destructive doubts incorrect; they no longer deserve a place in your life.
  5. Face your fears
    • Show yourself your own strength by confronting the fears that have been weighing you down. This is a great way to challenge any false narratives and lies that may be holding you back from achieving success. Only when we take action can we truly understand just how capable and strong we are!
  6. Challenge your automatic responses to events and people
    • If you find yourself comparing yourself unfavorably to others, or if any external factor is making you feel inadequate in some way, take steps to challenge these negative thoughts. Commit to doing whatever it takes for your self-esteem and confidence.

Mindfully taking the action to get free of insecurities daily

If you commit to the steps mentioned above each day, and continually stay mindful of your efforts, you will be blown away by the rapid growth that follows.
