No matter how talented and gifted you are and no matter how much others tell you that to your face, if you don’t know how to believe in yourself, you have very little to go on.

How to Believe in Yourself

Believing in yourself is a great gift that you give yourself and your world.

It is a way that you give yourself the freedom to be fully realized.

When you are free to be fully realized, you can do things in your life that you were born in this world to do.

Since you can do things that you are born to do, you are self-fulfilled and become a part of the healing solution that our world needs.

This post is about learning to believe in yourself so that you can be truly fulfilled.

How to Believe in Yourself.

 What happens when you don’t believe in yourself

  • miss out on opportunities
  • lose out on your potential
  • less than self-fulfilled
  • unhappy
  • leads to a lack of good self-esteem
  • maybe hard to be your true self
  • feel unbalanced
  • be dissatisfied
  • distrusted

When you don’t believe in yourself, the people around you will have a difficult time believing in you as well.  With that, the opportunities you seek become tough for you to attain in addition, you likely wont even recognize them when they are there.

 Not seeing things makes you not know that you can go after them.  How do you go after what you cannot see?

What happens when you do believe in yourself

  • you have self-efficacy
  • easily go after what you want
  • you look lucky
  • active leader of your life
  • gain and have the trust of others
  • success comes easily
  • attractive to yourself and others

When you believe in yourself, the people around you cannot help but believe in you as well.  When that happens, the opportunities you seek become easier for you to attain. You see them and go after them.

By seeing and going after things that you want, you have a more fulfilling, joyful, and successful life.

How to learn to believe in yourself

  • challenge your fears
  • risk failing
  • do things that you want to but fear that you can’t
  • learn what you don’t know how
  • keep going after failures
  • reward yourself for taking chances
  • dare to do things that you have not done before
  • take action more than just thinking about them
  • if you think about doing things, do them
  • look for ways to improve your self-trust
  • do what scares you until you are not scared anymore
  • gain courage by doing what you fear

Build into your life a habit of challenging your fears of failure.  Fail every day and grow your knowledge and skills.  

If you see yourself feeling less than others, straighten your back and pick up your chin, pull back from what you are doing or saying, and reflect on your unconditional worthiness. (You are just as worthy as anyone else on this planet, just for being here on earth.  This is a scientific fact!)

Know that as you take action steps on things that you feel you lack, you become better and better.  As you become better and better, you prove to yourself what you are capable of.  No one can take that away from you, not even you.

As you move forward in this way, your belief in yourself gets deeper and deeper.
